Yet another great example of PC gone way too far…
A newly hired radio host (had been at the station for 2 weeks) was commenting on how great it would be if Condoleeza Rice was to become the next NFL commissioner. During this commentary he slipped and spoke the word ‘coon’ instead of ‘coup’ by accident, he immediately realized his mistake and began to apologize. He was fired 20 minutes later and his boss came on the air to apologize to the audience and Condoleezza Rice. His boss was complimented by an NAACP spokesperson for the ‘swift’ response. Here, have a listen to his flub and you decide if he should’ve been fired:
This kind of stuff drives me crazy. It’s obvious it was a mistake, he feels bad for it and immediately apologizes (instead of hitting a delay button or trying to cover it up) and for being noble and recognizing his mistake he’s fired. Man I hate hippies… they’re ruining our society!
Honestly it sounded staged. He realized his mistake almost before he was done saying it, kinda weird.
But yes, political correctness is a joke.

We’ll see if he gets his job back… that should determine if it was staged…

Coons! My momma used to have coons back home and she would just sweep them off the front porch.
