Lori and I are leaving tonight to spend a week (plus a few days) up in beautiful North Idaho with our good friends Ian and Julie. I Promise I’ll bring back photos of our adventures!

I Love The Big Lebowski
Here’s a short version cut together showcasing most of the *F-words* in this movie. It had me laughing pretty hard!
Sadly, I need to start World Cup detox this week, it’s all over. (Next, I need to figure out how to get the Italy club soccer on the Dish!) I can’t say that I’m happy the game had to go to Penalty Kicks but a win is a win (4th WC Championship for Italy!). They have finally broke the curse of Penalty Kick losses and I was so happy to see the legend Zidane (from france) who was supposed to be going out on a high note playing his last game today (in a WC final), but instead chose to do a blatant head-butt and got ejected out of the game, finally a just and well deserved RED CARD! (see video below) The refs this WC were all over the place with cards setting records for most cards, come on FIFA lets get instant replay going!
Though, I am most impressed this time around with Italy’s goalie (Buffon) who ended the tournament by not allowing a goal during regular play (though there were only 2 goals scored on Italy: 1 goals was an own goal by Italy and the other was from a [bad call] penalty kick).
I have enjoyed this World Cup and I’d estimate that I watched probably 80% of the matches while skipping though the 20% of the remaining matches (thank you DVR, you did wonderful!). I look forward to the upcoming All-Star game as there are 7 Italians who have made the team this year!
I am very happy (and proud) today (and all I did was watch the TV)! I promise I will return my blog to it’s original scheme after a few days of celebration, of course!
The French Superhero’s shining momen!
Viva La Frogs!
Congratulazioni Azzurri, avete fatto buoni!
Happy 4th of July, be safe but still blow stuff up!
I promised myself I wouldn’t write much about the World Cup but I just finished watching Italy vs Germany Semi-Finals and all I can think of saying is: Unbelievable! One of the best Soccer Matches I’ve seen: two goals (by Italy!!!) in the last 2 minutes of Overtime before it was to be decided by Penalty Kicks, I haven’t jumped up and down and screamed so much in my life!
On to the Finals this Sunday!
BRAVO ITALIA!
