I’ve been watching the show IT Crowd. It’s another UK show (like the Office) that will be coming to the US on NBC this season. The BBC version is very silly and dry with some repetitive and predictable humor but is still very amusing. There are also some funny cultural and nerd references.
I am excited to see how it will be adapted for the US as the (US) Office was a huge improvement on an already funny show. I believe the first the first season DVD set has been released in the US and the second should be following soon. If you can find it (if not on DVD check the youtube) give it a watch you might enjoy it as it’s not overly nerdy.

I watched all of the UK office before the US one came out or was even announced. I loved the UK version and when I found out that NBC was adapting it for the US I thought there was no way they could improve it…
To my surprise, I found many of the characters were improved:
For example their Assistant to the Regional Manager: Gareth
Ours: Dwight Schrute there is just no comparison the Dwight is insane
Our Pam is so much better than Dawn
I did like their Tim better than our Jim but coupled together with Pam, Jim and Pam make a great team.
Keith vs Kevin, both great but Kevin has developed the character more.
I’m also tied between the bosses: David and Michael.. they both were very well cast for both versions.
And who could forget creepy Creed!
